Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed/opaque golden pink pour with thick foamy white head. Great lacing.
S: Pineapple and citrus. Fruity and sweet.
T.F: Just like it smells. Semi-sweet up front... strong pineapple with lighter citrus. Grapefruit, mango, and tangerine... lactose and baking sugar. Creamy mouthfeel... smooth with just enough bite to keep it honest. More tropical fruit at the finish.
O: Another fantastic milkshake IPA from Tired Hands. Similar to their straight 'Pineapple Milkshake' but I probably prefer this one. Hard to go wrong with this series.
Nov 24, 2019L: Hazed/opaque golden pink pour with thick foamy white head. Great lacing.
S: Pineapple and citrus. Fruity and sweet.
T.F: Just like it smells. Semi-sweet up front... strong pineapple with lighter citrus. Grapefruit, mango, and tangerine... lactose and baking sugar. Creamy mouthfeel... smooth with just enough bite to keep it honest. More tropical fruit at the finish.

Poured from a tap at the Brew Cafe into a TH pint glass..
L: Typical milkshake appearance. Super cloudy light gold color with a big two finger white head. Nice full ring glass lacing.
S: I get the pineapple with the typical milkshake vanilla and other Tropical fruits. The brown sugar pops on the nose too.
T: Pineapple with other tropical fruit flavors of mango, some lemon and slight citrus. The vanilla really comes through with some sweetness as the massive brown sugar pie crust flavor starts to dominate. Fruit slightly lingers but the brown sugar really continues to dominate the back end. Finish is creamy and dry but again the fruit is squashed by the other flavors . It’s not sweet, just really bready and dry like pie crust. This is different than the usual milkshake for sure.
F: Creamy, smooth, prickly and full bodied. Nice.
O: As much as they really hit the mark with the upside down cake thing. I didn’t dig this one as much as others as the fruit was second fiddle to the brown sugar and pie crust. Good, but far from my favorite.
