Hazed pale yellow with a creamy white head. Modest lacing.
Sour Berliner aroma with some light milked chocolate and maybe even a hint of vanilla in the nose (surprising as cacao fruit ain't chocolate! -- maybe psychosomatic?).
Strong wheat and a pleasant, light sourness and tartness in the taste. None of the chocolate impression from the nose; maybe a hint of slight floral sweetness.
Very soft mouthfeel with a nice, full carbonation cutting through.
The Pilsner malt really smoothed out the edges on this one. Nowhere near as tart or fruity as most Berliners sold these days. It grew on me more as I drank it.
