i had higher hopes after absolutely loving all of the recent tired hands stuff i have had, but this one tastes a little dated to me, still lively from the tap, murky and overly dry hopped looking, with a fizzy inch of white head on top and a softness about it for its strength. smells boozy, bitter, piney and even a little sweet, not as subtle and seemingly well refined as the other ones i have had from these guys, more intense on the hops, green and overdosed in aroma and flavor, but some neat mandarin orange and spruce notes to it, i think a cool almost festive hop profile that works well this time of year. great carbonation really saves it from getting heavy and fatiguing, but the bitterness sets in early, and this gets intense pretty quick, especially as it comes up to temperature. i like the hop profile, but feel it would do better in a lighter beer. i guess the more of these hazy ones i drink, the more i find a lot of them to be samey. as hyped as some of them are, i just dont see the style as capable of as much as its being credited for. this is a good example of the limitations inherent within...

Standard murkbomb. Bright murky orangish yellow. Can’t figure out the smell, so weird. Green onion, sweat? Orange? Taste is overripe fruit, almost rotten. I am confused by how much I like the taste based on the smell. Feel is on the full side of medium, very soft. Overall just confused. I’ll drink the rest without sniffing.

L - 2-finger yellowish head atop a near-opaque orange body.
S - dank, meat, citrus, grass.
T - very strange. Starts with orange, then quickly overwhelmed by dank and cheese. A little meat, a touch of grassiness, butter. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium-full, chalky body with average carb.
O - I’ll be curious to read what a normal person tastes in this beer. Clearly my experience is not what was intended, nor what most will experience. I’ve tried to adjust my smell/taste ratings to reflect this.
