L - 2-finger sparse white head atop a translucent yellow body.

S - herb, grapefruit, cheese.

T - very odd. Grapefruit yes, but a savory meat-pie thing going on too. I get strong rosemary, thyme, nut puree, a bit of shaved beef, parmesan cheese. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - a bizzare ipa. Some savory ipas I like, especially if they taste like meat. This tastes like random spices, so I’m not sure what they were going for. Rosemary all over the place. Not sure if they actually doused this with spices or if its the hops creating these flavors, but its definitely unique.

Don’t pass this beer up. Pineapple ipa with nutty notes to clash heads with sweet grapefruitty notes of a stronger ipa just balanced extremely well together.

Canned 15 days ago.

Pours super dense/hazy orange. One of the haziest beers I've ever seen. It looks like Sunny Delight. There's a persisent off-white head on top.

The nose is orange flesh, orange pith, pina colada, and almond.

The taste is peach, orange, pineapple, and a light almond character.

The mouthfeel is basically full. Big and dense for a double IPA but still soft and smooth.

Overall, very good.

Can dated 10/26/18. Poured into tulip.
Look is medium dense orange haze with a fluffy white head. Nose has a lot going on, but floral notes combined with white grape and lychee plus pineapple and peach, along with a nutty vanilla in the back and increasing a bit as it warms, combo of all is almost like cardamom spice plus fruity juiciness. Taste starts with the juiciness from pineapple and peach up front with the floral stuff and white grape and lychee in the back, then the gradually through the middle and end the nutty vanilla weirdness swells producing the same cardamom thing a bit in the middle and more in the end, finish is medium dry with just a touch of bitterness, lingering pineapple and peach in balance with the cardamom. Mouthfeel is decently creamy, but feels light making it easy to drink. Overall really awesome beer, especially for one balancing so many different ingredients. I was skeptical when I saw the combination of seemingly disjoint sensory ingredients, and it was a bit weird and admittedly off putting on the first whiff, but this one really grew on me in the best way. The pineapple purée, flowers, almond powder, and hops are all present and somehow in balance forming a very nice albeit strange and complex product. Great stuff from Tired Hands, who seem to know just how to get ingredients to behave well together to produce new cool sensory experiences.
