On tap at Tired Hands Fermentaria.
Pours a clear dark yellow with fine, soft foam.
Smell is slightly herbal with notes of chamomille, black and green tea and peaches.
Taste is fairly light with most of the notes from the nose present and joined by some melon and a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a nice IPA, easy to drink but maybe not overly exciting.

Clear beer at Tired Hands! Ha I forget what a classic IPA should taste like..I think my favorite used to be the old Green Flash 7% west coast ipa, and this is not that because its not grapefruity enough, but anyway thank you for attempting to make a relic for us old timers who like their IPA clear. The taste is good and an 8 oz glass is easy to drink. You should get this down to 6.0-6.5% and offer it all the time. Or most of the time.

From draft at TH. From the tap list: “Classic American IPA 7.4% Brewed with a simple base of American 2 Row barley, and hopped quite handily with Columbus and Chinook. Fermented very dry with a classic American ale yeast, and dry hopped aggressively with our best Chinook, Cascade, Citra, and Columbus. Notes of pink grapefruit, crushed fir needles, unripe peach, and citrus leaf.” Very tasty and, unusually so for many TH IPAs, not cloudy at all.
