Brewed from a desire to explore lager brewing process. Built from a simple grist of German Pilsner malt, and hopped with German Hallertau Mittelfrüh and New Zealand Pacific Jade.
Notes of matcha, grains of paradise, wet flint, hay, and white grape.

Poured from a 16 oz glass into a standard pint glass.
Look:
Amber and clear, light bubbles, little head.
Smell:
Peppercorn, crisp spring day
Taste:
Light, beer-flavorful, peppercorn
Feel:
Light, crisp, refreshing.
Overall:
A very solid pilsner, a perfect compliment to the heavy ipas as the weather warms some. Crisp, crisp, crisp is the feeling this beer gives off. The low abv is a nice change of pace.

Tiny pour at Mikkeller London for £5.7. I love lagers, but this wasn’t good at all. Clear but no head, straw color. Hay and grass on the nose, a bit weird. Flavors are even more far afield, weird phenolic flavor like a Belgian blonde, gross. Feel is slick and light and med-high carb. Pretty bad overall.
