Poured into a snifter canned 12/28/18. Pours a very a hazy attractive yellow with a half finger sticky white that leaves thin patches of lace, nice retention.
Smell lemon, papaya, passionfruit, marijuana, and a hint grapefruit rind.
Taste follows lemon, papaya, passionfruit, herbal dankness, and grapefruit.
Mouthfeel medium, gentle life a tad sticky not dry, and at 8.3% goes down very easy.
Overall another excellent brew, thanks jzeilinger for this one.

Poured as a hazy pale yellow with a thin white head on top. The smell had a subtle weed-like dankness to it. The taste is also pretty dank with subtle lemon in the finish. The feel is sharp yet creamy. Overall it’s a pretty good IPA.

From a 16oz can. From the Tired Hands description: “Gleam Forest is our Lemon & Maple Syrup Double IPA brewed with malted oats & wheat, and fermented with lemon juice and Pennsylvania grade-B maple syrup. Intraconically dry hopped throughout fermentation with Mosaic from our 2018 selections, as well as a touch of Australian Galaxy. It kinda feels like a Totally Different Spiritual Galaxy... Notes of lemon meringue, pungent mango, blueberry crumble, and white gummi bears. 8.6% abv.” Delicious.

Canned on 12-28-18.
A - Opaque medium yellow gold color with moderate, creamy, white dense lacing. (typical New England style IPA look).
S - Nose is pungent, dank, juicy, and intense. Lots of tropical fruit, mango, citrus, and spicy citrus rind.
T - Spicy tropical fruit peel/rind from start to finish. Vibrant citrus and mango from start to finish, ends with a bittersweet finish and after the sip a kiss of maple syrup surfaces.
M - Full body with some chewy texture and very dry on the back of the tongue.
O - This is a rock solid D-IPA and better than the last one I had from Tired Hands. Interesting to include maple syrup in an IPA but it works. Very little warming and the ABV is deceptively well hidden. Recommended.
