How do I explain this one???? Definitely not a fan of holiday beers or spice beers but here is why this one is different:

The look is as expected for a milkshake brew - a bit cloudy with a dark yellow hue. Now comes the awkward part, the smell does have the cinnamon roll catch but holds back a bit so you feel like you are not scarfing down a full cinnamon bun fresh out of the oven. The feel is smooth and bread like (maybe the oats) and the sensation lingers through the first half of the glass. It settles in your mouth so the experience is memorable. Thought the next glass would clarify the situation but only strengthened my opinion on this beer.

From draft at TH. From the tap list: “The latest heavily amplified psychedelic riff on THE boundary-pushing Culinary IPA series. Brewed with gobs of oats, house made Chinese five spice sweet buns and lactose sugar. Conditioned atop luscious Madagascar vanilla beans and intensely hopped and then dry hopped with Mosaic and Citra. Dreamt Up with our sweet angel life mates at Omnipollo. Notes of apple cider donut, cake icing, lemon pez, and grapefruit gelato.” Delicious with clear five spice notes.
