L - 1.5 finger frothy offwhite head atop an apricot-orange body.

S - strange. Fruit juice, herb, tea, skunk.

T - apricot, mango, vanilla, tea. Moderate-low bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium-full body with lower carb.

O - really dig the fruit flavors, but the bitterness of the tea clashes with the fruit in an unpleasant way. Would have been better without the tea.

This beer pours out a dark orange and completely hazy. One finger of tightly packed, tingy yellow bubbles rest on top.

The nose is one of the weirdest noses I’ve ever experienced in an ipa. Strong, funky tea. Very slight vanilla along with slight apricot and mango notes. I’m not a huge fan of how it mixes, but it does get better after the initial shock.

The taste brings in that strong tea presence as well. Creamy vanilla and lactose. The tea lends a a little bit of sharpness whikrbalso prividing a tea like sweetness as well.

Creamy with no burn, but a lot of sweetness.

Overall, this is weird. But after the initial shock, it works for me. Warming up a bit also helps.

16 oz can, dated 5/30/19, poured into a tulip

A- A hazy golden orange with a two finger white head.

S- Tropical with a some apricots, rooibos tea, some vanilla and citrus hops.

T- Lots of rooibos tea, mango, some apricot, citrus, some vanilla.

M- Smooth, medium body, a little creamy.

O- An interesting combo of flavors. As I’m drinking it I’m liking how the flavors work together more. Almost reminding me of mango gelati.

Appearance - Pours thick turbid orange with a huge fluffy white head excellent retention settles to a 1/2" cap. Tons of lacing.

Aroma - The vanilla and mango lye underneath the rooibos tea. The spiciness of the tea would probably overpower and while strong is balanced by the vanilla.

Taste - A very interesting meld of flavors, oddly enough the rooibos tea is the prominent flavor but the mango and vanilla compete well. The way this is made if the flavors were not so well balanced (keep in mind the tea is still stronger) this would be a hard drink for me. The vanilla really smooths everything out.

Feel - Really thick creamy smooth feel, soft carbonation no sign of any alcohol anywhere.

Overall - Pretty impressed at the balls to try this combination and they pulled it off. Flavors are smooth and work well together, the vanilla complement the rooibos tea well.
