From a bottle purchased in 2019. Still delicious!

Fluffy active lopsided white frothy head comprised of big chunky bubbles... Color is a slightly muted pale lemony gold... Huge nose with the funkiness of a Belgian Saison leading the way... Lots of grassy notes... A hint of lemon... The hops rise to prominence as the session progresses... Additional characteristics emerge on the palate taking on an almost wild ale presence... Some faint medicinal notes as well... Light bodied... Highly carbonated... I'm a Tired Hands devotee and self professed lover of Saison and IPAs, but this one has a bit of an identity crisis and was a slight bit of a let down overall...

Poured from a tall bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Bright hazed golden pour. Thick foamy white head leaves great lacing.
S: Tart and funky. Citrusy hops, barrel, and barnyard.
T.F: Tart without being sour. Muted IPA character... but still some nice citrus/rind. Funk and barrel, green apple, and apple cider vinegar. Soft and smooth... a bit of spice and lemon. Medium to light body. Crisp... with tart fruit and funk at the finish.
O: An outstanding soured IPA. Great flavor and complexity... super drinkable... as expected from Tired Hands.

Huge thanks to Arthur for this bottle. Cheers man!
Bottle says Saison, and Built like an IPA on the bottle, so I guess Belgian IPA works, but I'm rating it as a Saison. Sue me...
Pours a clouded straw yellow and glows overall. The fizz from the pop of the cap relays into a pillowy mass of bone white foam that plasters the glass with ease during it's slow descension.
One sniff and no doubt, very much has that Rustic Farmhouse/ American Wild Ale thing going on. "Barnyard funk", woody, peppery, and lightly soured aromas. Green apple skins fade over lemons and damp hay.
Wow. Quite less subtle and soft in the flavor, but that's not a bad thing. Not a bad thing at all. Much more lemony and tart than I was expecting. As the initial flavors reside, the lingering notes of peppercorns, dried flowers (yes, I've eaten dried flowers you smart asses. Who hasn't?), and a musty wood and earthy finish.
Tart is the obvious first descriptor, but this is also soft, smooth, and light. Well balanced and rediculously easy to drink. The high carbonation fills the belly equations to a rather burpy experience, but that may have also been the poutine I had for lunch.
Very enjoyable and it's managing to be quite the magical disappearing act.

Hazed gold with a thick white head that has decent retention and leaves heavy lacing.
Floral, grassy hops and citrusy sourness in the nose.
Tart and fruity tasting — like a sour pear cider with bright, grassy hops. There’s some distant tropical flowers and a nice, underlying yeasty funk.
Medium bodied with zippy carbonation.
I’d call this a hoppy sour more than any sort of IPA, but however you want to categorize it, it is delicious. I love the balance of tartness and funk in here. Expertly crafted.
