Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed golden orange pour with thick fluffy white head. Outstanding lacing.
S: Big and juicy. Orange and grapefruit... tea and tropicals.
T.F: Semi-sweet and tropical up front. Orange, grapefruit, papaya, and passionfruit. Tea and mint... jam, lactose, and guava. Balanced with a bit of hop bitterness. Thick and juicy. Medium bodied. More fruit and a bit of mint in the aftertaste.
O: A complex and fantastic IIPA. Well worth seeking out and a beer I hope they brew again.

Thanx to rudzud, canned 8/01/19
Pours a large foamy white bubbly 1 finger head, great retention and fluffy lacing, hazy cloudy medium orange color
Nose brings loads of citrus, orange juice, orange marmalade, tangerine, chamomile, mild tropical guava, pineapple, light floral herbal tea, then creamy oats and lactose sugar, sweet malt and orange cake icing, and hint of honey
Taste wow, complex, tons more citrus, orange cake and icing (not just the icing), with autumn spices, chamomile and floral herbal tea, a bunch of tea, light floral sweet honey, creamy oats, lactose sugar, and candy malt characters, orange juice, tangerine, candied pineapple and tropical fruit notes, not too much lactose thankfully, drier but sticky finish, a bit of warming alcohol comes through, all the candied citrus marmalade and spices lingering
Mouth is med to fuller bod, medium creamy carb, creamy base with oats and lactose, light warming alcohol
Overall pretty interesting, I'm not usually a fan of milk shake ipas but this was fairly well done. But sure if I got all the characters they were aiming for but still enjoyable.

I’m not sure what to make of this one, BA’s. Like a Jackson Pollock painting, there is just sh-t everywhere! Honey, coriander, lactose, marmalade... It’’s like trying to make sense of a David Lynch film - I don’t even know where to begin or where to end. “Muhollhand Drive” is a masterpiece, so I definitely won’t go there... Yep - “Inland Empire.” This is an “Inland Empire” beer.

Received in a trade. Canned on 8/1/19.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice hazy golden orange hue with a massive, creamy two finger head that faded incredibly, incredibly slow leaving really thick lacing and an incredibly dense blanket. Just spectacular appearance with the ABV.
S - Aromas of light honey, tons of coriander seed though and not the good kind you get in a proper wit. This is almost aggressively toasted. I do get some pleasant camomile, lighter earthy hops thanks to the mosaic that gets overpowered by the honey, coriander, and camomile. There is just a light flash of oranges on the nose as well. If the coriander wasn't as toasty this would definitely be more enjoyable. On hard swirls there are good tropical notes.
T - Taste is really, really unique. TONS of wildflower honey galore. The coriander is much more subtle on the taste thankfully, good juicy oranges. The lemons add a light tartness on the finish, the camomile is pretty solid too. The mosaic is just a little earthy but not aggressive or vegative. The Motueka is actually really pleasant; I definitely see where they were going with the passion fruit custard.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, creamy, thick, no discernible alcohol.
O - Overall this an incredibly unique beer from Tired Hands. The honey is quite nice my only knock is how aggressive that toasted corriander is on the nose. Other than that this was surprisingly enjoyable.
