An Imperial Ice Cream Sundae Stout. We were just thinking about our friend Henok from Omnipollo, so we brewed our most decadent Imperial Stout ever. Composed with a massive amount of chocolate malt, various caramel malts, a bit of lactose sugar, and a big ol' pile of astronaut ice cream sandwiches. We conditioned it on an over the top amount of cacao, roasted walnuts, and an absolutely senseless amount of Bourbon vanilla beans (the most we have ever used in any beer ever). Notes of whipped cream, luscious vanilla bean ice cream, wet walnuts, s'mores, black candied cherries, Snickers bars, and ooey gooey fudge brownies.

Good desert stout. A little too sweet for my personal taste but I see the allure.

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Dark black pour with thin brownish head. Nice ring of lacing.
S: Sweet and complicated. Chocolate, vanilla, roast, and nuts.
T.F: Just like it smells. Semi-sweet to start. Roasted grains and milk chocolate. Strong vanilla... some oak, hazelnut, and lactose. Iced cream sundae indeed... and the vanilla and lactose feature prominently. Modest roast bitterness. Medium bodied... creamy mouthfeel.
O: An outstanding dessert stout... steep price, but not unexpected given the ingredients. The flavors work really well together. As always Tired Hands delivers.

Pours a dark black. Very sweet, intoxicating aroma. Taste is also sweet with chocolate, vanilla, caramel and some bourbon flavoring. Taste is not overly sweet and lighter than the aroma. Well balanced. Feel is medium (or slightly lighter). Personally, i prefer heavier feel to imperial stouts but it works very nicely here. Outstanding stout.
