Poured chilled from a can dated 11/03/25 (just over 2 weeks fresh) into to a 16oz pint glass.
Appearance is cloudy hazy pale gold with a 2-finger foamy off-white head that lingers around. A light amount of lacing along the glass.
Aroma is much like the other base Milkshake IPAs in the Tired Hands culinary series. Im getting sweet tropical candied fruits, vanilla, marshmallow, fresh cut grass, some distant pine in there, subtle cinnamon.
Taste follows the nose with a burst of sweet tropical fruit, some rum notes, fall pie spices, vanilla.
Mouthfeel is creamy smooth, fuller side of medium on the body. Decent balance here with the sweet front followed by subtle hop bitterness and I think the slight warming alcohol helps this as well.
Overall, another very tasty edition in TH Culinary IPA series. I never miss one of these releases. They are always smooth, drinkable, and tasty. This has that classic base that their Milkshake IPAs are known for. Im nit getting the Egg Nog part of this. If i'm being honest, several of these are cookie-cutter brews and just mirror each other. Would love to see this series continue, but see the brewers at TH get a little more bold with the culinary flavors in these. Again, would like to see more of the adjuncts come across in the flavor profile next time, but overall, this is another well-crafted brew from the gang over at Tired Hands.

Creamy, smooth IPA. Not so sure about the eggnog, but a darn good IPA that goes down easy with a smooth, creamy finish

From draft at TH. From the TH Instagram post: “ Egg Nog Milkshake IPA is the latest eye-rollingly seasonal installment in THE culinary IPA series (you know, the one we've been riffing on with our buds at @omnipollo these last few years). Brewed with gobs of oats and wheat, a generous dose of lactose sugar, and our freshest Citra and Mosaic. Conditioned on twice our usual amount of vanilla, a pinch of nutmeg, and a splash of rum essence, and dry hopped with more of that good good Citra and Mosaic. You just KNOW we had to do it to ya! Notes of crème brûlée, Meyer lemon curd, perfumey hardspice, ambrosia, and your weird uncle.”. Delicious!
