Modern Gulpie is brewed with a blend of very pale domestic and imported base malts, and hopped judiciously with Hallertauer from one of our friends in Bavaria. Fermented with our dear house Lager strain, and cold conditioned for a spell before packaging. Just somethin' nice to have to drink! You know how & where to drink these =) 4.0% abv. Notes of fresh dough, mineral water, light honey, and Springtime herb garden.

ordered from local GoPuff
can dated 6 months ago - not sure how much age affects this style
poured into clean glass at about 40f

Pale gold translucent color
light malty barely but noticeable hoppy aroma
Crisp flavor with barely noticeable hop balance (drinks like a pilsner)
surprisingly supple mouth feel with an exciting effervescence that lingers on the tongue

overall i really like this beer - I usually don't like lagers but I knew this wouldn't be the typical experience based on Tired hands rep and the rating it already has

I really enjoy the hoppy flavor that is noticeable opposed to what most consider a lager - If I tasted blind I would assume this to be a pilsner of the Czech or bavarian style

easy drinking and refreshing

Very pale gold appearance with a thin but lasting head.
Body and carbonation both hover around medium.
Aroma is yeasty malty crusty bread in the forefront. Theres also cereal, grain, and some earthy floral honey.
Taste is almost dry despite the malt. Yeasty bread, grain, cereal and some floral earthy hops.
Glad I picked this up,for a light lager its very good

12oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $2.99. The bottom of the can says "KUSH LITE 03/30/2023" so this is approximately 70 days old.

Look: Very clear pale straw color. About a half-finger of white, small-bubbled head. There is a very steady stream of tiny bubbles rising up the glass.

Smell: The aromas are fairly subtle and pleasant - a bit grassy, peppery, and there are mild fruity notes (white grape and pear). There's also a bready/doughy character along with a bit of yeast character. I am also getting notes of honey and honeydew melon. It smells fresh and nice.

Taste: This is pretty tasty. At 4%, it is certainly light. However, it brings a good amount of flavor. The finish is moderately bitter and earthy with a lingering herbal character. It's hard to describe, but I get like a watermelon rind vibe in this beer with its relatively strong bitterness. Notes from the aroma of doughy, bready malt come through along with honey and floral notes. The pear and melon flavors also come through.

Feel: The mouthfeel is nice, it's definitely on the lighter-bodied side. Nicely carbonated.

Overall: This is pretty good. As far as light lagers go, I think that it's hard to do much better than this.

Canned on: 3-30-24

A - Pale gold pour with dense creamy white foam and moderate carbonation.

S - Crisp, biscuity malt with a slight bit of graininess and light earthy citrus.

T - Crisp, crackery, grainy malt grain with earthy hops over the top with a slight bit of spiciness. Ends with a crisp, lingering citrus and pine bitterness that scrubs away any sweet malt residue.

M - Light medium body with prickly carbonation and dry on the palate.

O - Tastes as advertised and perfect for a hot day.

Clear light pale yellow straw colored with some lacing. Maybe served too cold. Almost no aroma.
Easy drinking. No sweetness. Dry but not IPA hoppy dry. Could be a bit sharper in the finish. Some Germans hops but low.

Tastes like a really good light beer.

A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright head that left a thin head covering the surface and some specks of bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of floral hops are present in the nose along with hints of spicy hops.
T: The taste is a near image to the smell except that the hops also contribute a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite sessionable. While the aromas in the smell and taste aren't overly strong, it is very drinkable considering its light body.

12oz can into a pint glass. Canned 10/19/20, so 6 months old. Bit long in the tooth for a relatively recent can release in Wilkes Barre.

Looks very nice. Glassy pale yellow body with slow streams of carbonation. Bright white head shrinks to a thick ring and covering, leaving scattered lacing.

Sweet floral aroma.

On tasting, clean, malty, sweet. Also quite dry, with a faint metallic touch.

Mouth medium, finish dry and faintly metallic.

Overall, for a light lager, not too bad. Trying more of this style, and figured going with one of the top brewers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was a good idea.

Very, very tame. Drinkable, quenchable but not much depth to this lager, think lawnmower beer. TH has quality brews but this one better served for your non-craft drinking guests.

This one makes Raul wanna bang his drum. Straight up Bulls on Parade style, Raul can get down with it. Drinking this beer with the sunset, as the sunset looks back at Raul… Let’s feel tranquil together.

Transcendence.
