Milkshake IPA Extra Vanilla Passionfruit Tangerine

Pours a completely opaque, matte orange color. Thin white head dissipates until no residual head remains. Rings of white lacing.

Aroma has notes of orange, orange juice, pineapple juice, vanilla, and passionfruit.

Taste follows the nose with notes of orange juice, passionfruit, vanilla, with some light grassy bitterness on the back end. Semi-sweet.

Feel is medium to full bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation.

Overall, this is a delicious beer. I have not liked the milkshake style IPAs that I've come across, but this was the first one that I genuinely enjoyed.

16 oz can, dated 9/9/20, poured into a teku

A- A hazy golden orange with a two finger white head.

S- Tangerines, passion fruit, vanilla, citrus hops, some tropical fruits, touch of lactose. Big juicy fruits supported by a nice hoppiness.

T- Tangerines, passion fruit, vanilla, hints of lactose, citrus zest, touch of pine.

M- Smooth, creamy, medium body.

O- Tired Hands did a great job with this milkshake, the fruits are juicy and play right into the hops. Definitely one of my favorite milkshakes.

 

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Opaque bright peach golden pour with big foamy white head. Great retention and alcing.

S: Vanilla, citrus, and passionfruit.

T.F: Semi-sweet to start. Vanilla milkshake... lactose and citrus. A bit of tartness... fruity. Strong passionfruit and tangerine. Very modest bitterness. Thick and creamy mouthfeel... smooth... with more fruit at the finish.

O: An absolutely fantastic Milkshake IPA. Hits all of the advertised flavors, and the bit of tartness from the fruit really balances this out. Delicious.

Conditioned this go around atop a puree of juicy tangerine and tart passionfruit, as well as an extra extra generous helping of lush Madagascar vanilla beans and then dry hopped with our very best Citra and Mosaic. 7.2% abv. Gushing with notes of peach nectar, Sunny Delight, lemon sorbetto, bubbly tangerine soda pop, with just a subtle hint of orange sour patch kids.” Delicious!
