Brewed with the same base as our Milkshake IPA series (oats, lactose sugar, Madagascar vanilla beans) Acai Bowl Milkstave IPA was fermented entirely in a large French Oak Foudre for that naturally soured experience and then conditioned in oak atop heaps of a fresh house-made açaí, blueberry, strawberry, and raspberry purée. This beer is incredibly bright and hoppy, hoppy, hoppy and is best enjoyed fresh, but feel free to age for a bit to see what kind of freaked out psycho journey Milkstave IPA has in store for you. Notes of your morning smoothie, jammy fruit cups, & a healthy start to your day!

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed burgundy-pink pour with thick fizzy pink-tinged head. Falls fast... nice sticky lacing.
S: Tart and fruity. Berry, acai, and citrus.
T.F: Sweet/tart and fruity. Strong berry... acai and raspberry... blueberry and lemon zest. Vanilla and lactose. Jammy... modest acidity. Medium to light bodied with effervescent carbonation. Mixed berry jam at the finish.
O: A sweet/tart berry treat. Loads of jam... and a nice riff on souring up one of their milkshake brews.
