Some of our absolute favorite ingredients we’ve used in our Milkshake IPA series come together for one beautiful organoleptic & sensory overloading experience =) Conceived and raised in ongoing psychic dialog with our spiritual cohorts at Omnipollo and brewed, as always, with a cushy grist of oats and wheat, as well as lactose sugar, this time with the addition of New Jersey Wildflower Honey from our pals at Fruitwood Orchards. Conditioned atop a vibrant melange of passionfruit & kalamansi purées, and a generous helping of Madagascar vanilla beans. Intensely dry hopped with Mosaic and Citra and then conditioned atop some beautifully delicate Jasmine Tea. Notes of mango gelato, vanilla soft serve w. peach cream, fruity pebbles cereal milk, Concord grape candies, and jarritos mandarin soda =)

Pours a opaque orange with a half finger of head. Looks rich and creamy. Smell is unique - I’m getting passionfruit up front with vanilla, sour grapes, and peach bringing up the rear. I’m not sure if I would characterize it as mouth watering but it is definitely interesting and making me excited. Taste is as interesting as the smell - first comes a tart passionfruit with vanilla and cream soda smoothing out the edges. Mouthfeel is neither here nor there - good but nothing to rave about. Overall, this is a beer I am glad I got a chance to try - it is unique and special but not one I would crave again. That being said, if you haven’t had it before, would definitely recommend trying it at some point just to have the experience.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed out medium golden pour with big fluffy white head. Great retention/lacing.
S: Passionfruit, sweets, and vanilla. Fruity.
T.F: Semi-sweet... vanilla and passionfruit. Honey, tangerine, cream, floral notes, and mango. Negligible bitterness... a bit of fruity tartness from the passionfruit. Medium bodied and creamy mouthfeel. Passion fruit punch at the finish.
O: An excellent Imperial Milkshake IPA. Great mix of passionfruit, vanilla, and hops... super balanced. Delicious.
