Pours jet black with traditional nitro cascading head. Looks great. Aroma is not particularly strong or interesting, but mostly roasted malts. Taste is also simple combination of roasted malts and dark chocolate. I tasted no vanilla in either can i drank. Mouthfeel is slightly smooth but very, very dry.

16 oz can, dated 7/20/21, poured into a pint glass
A- Black with a great nitro pour cascading head.
S- Roasted malts, dark chocolate, some vanilla, hints of dark fruits.
T- Dark chocolate, vanilla, touch of roasted coffee, some roasted malts, hints of dark fruits.
M- Smooth, low carbonation, velvet like creaminess, medium body.
O- Big flavors for 7% stout, incredible well balanced. The base stout does not get lost with the addition of chocolate and vanilla, everything seems to be coming together in perfect harmony.

From the TH Instagram post: “ We've been dreaming about this one for a while now... Brewed with a rich and varied selection of dark specialty malts, an exorbitant amount of flaked oats, and a touch of lactose sugar. Fermented with our house Ale yeast, and conditioned on cacao and Madagascar vanilla beans. Dosed with nitrogen at packaging, bringing a lush & luxurious mouthfeel, and with that classic lovely cascade of fine froth. 7.0% abv. Notes of black & white milkshakes, ice cold yoohoo, semisweet bakers chocolate, and a certain British stout that may or may not have been a gateway to the craft beer world for ya =).” Creamy & delicious.
