Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Cloudy burgundy mud pour... kind of an ugly color. Thick purple tinged head. Great lacing.
S: Gooey blueberry and vanilla. Baked goods and fruit.
T.F: Semi-sweet... strong blueberry and vanilla. Lighter citrus and rind. Mild tartness from the berries. Good mix of flavors... creamy. Medium bodied and a bit boozy. Blueberry pastry finish.
O: Works really well... good blueberry/vanilla flavor to go with a classic Tired Hands milkshake style. A little much on the booze, but really solid brew.

From the TH Instagram post: “ Gooey Blueberry Pie Double Milkshake IPA is just a good-old, down-home, plush-n-cozy edition of our Culinary IPA series, originally dreamt up with our jolly good chums over at @omnipollo. Brewed with heavy amounts of luscious oats, wheat, and lactose sugar, and fermented atop an exorbitant amount of blueberry puree. Hopped and dry-hopped with the very choicest Mosaic and Citra, and conditioned on whole Madagascar vanilla beans, marshmallow, graham cracker, a touch of lemon zest and a pinch of cinnamon. Quite possibly one of the most absurd in this series yet - incredibly indulgent & fun =) 9.2% ABV. Notes of blueberry gelato, lemon meringue pie, roasted marshmallow, toasted coconut, berry trail mix, and, well, fresh fresh fresh homemade blueberry pie with extra gooey gooey.” Nice!
