Slightly more than a finger’s worth of lopsided khaki colored froth comprised of big chunky bubbles…. Good retention…. The color is a slightly hazed pale lemony yellow…. Nose is a vibrant mix of fresh hops and sweet citrusy goodness… Flavor is dominated the the DDHing and hop resins, there are no notes of the citrusy fruits…. A touch grass and hay notes as well…. Dry mouthfeel throughout…. Some prickly carbonation…. A good, sturdy enjoyable beer…. Somewhat one dimensional as I was hoping for a bit more nuance and complexity….

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a hazy light orange with a decent off-white head. Great lacing. Apparently DDH Hophands comes in many different incarnations, with a foundation of Simcoe, Centennial, and Amarillo and dry-hopped with a variety of hops. There is no indication on the can as to which one this might be, but it sure has Galaxy characteristics so we're gonna go with that. Dry and slightly bitter, with medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Finish is dry and somewhat astringent. Overall, a reasonably enjoyable and quite drinkable IPA, but not something I'd seek out.
