Hop Cream (Blueberry) is our Blueberry & Marshmallow Double IPA brewed with abundance of oats, of both the flaked and malted variety, and fermented with our darling house Ale yeast. Conditioned on looots and lots and lots of blueberry puree, as well as marshmallow, and dry hopped heavily with Mosaic and Galaxy. Notes of fresh citrus plucked right from the tree, blueberry ice cream, toasted blueberry muffins with the top cut off then spread with fluffernutter and then the top returned, and a nice li'l fizzy blueberry tea over ice sitting on the grass enjoying the early afternoon sunshine.

Pours a gray-hued purple color with a fat finger of similarly-tinted head. Moderate retention gives way to nice, sloppy lacing.
Huge marshmallow is joined a hoppy vegetal quality in the nose consistent with over hopping. No real blueberry shows past those elements.
There’s a flash of blueberry up front in the taste, with hints of blueberry tartness showing in the aftertaste as well, but the strong marshmallow overpowers most of it. There’s some toast and vegetal hops here as well, underneath the sugary qualities.
Smooth, creamy mouthfeel with tight carbonation.
The marshmallow here is extremely heavy handed, making for a sickly sweet drinking experience that’s, IMO, not enjoyable. There are some good qualities beneath, but I was hoping for a completely different balance.
