Pours a hazed burnt orange color with two fingers of dense, lightly yellowed head and the grossest collection of large snow globe globules I’ve seen to date. Solid rings of lacing.
Smells like a traditional Heady-era NEIPA, maybe with hints of apple cider, although I’d say orange if sniffing blind.
The taste is definitely very milkshake forward. The lactose jumps out at you, with that older-school NEIPA flavor behind. Slightly bitter, iced tea-like finish.
Light bodied for the style and fizzy.
Disappointing overall. As an experiment in canning, this is a total fail. Some interesting flavors beneath all the milk sugar, but my favorite part by far is the can art.
