16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 3/15/22, so a month old.
Really nice looking beer. Crystal clear deep dark coppery brown colored body. Small cream colored head persists throughout leaving scattered lacing.
Malty caramel aroma.
On tasting, quite roasty. Strong malts, roast moving ahead of the caramel sweetness.
Mouth between medium and full, finish more roast than sweet.
Overall, pretty good beer. Personal taste would have preferred a closer balance between sweet and roast, but would certainly have again.

From the TH website: “ Dunkel- the latest release in our Trendler series. A 5% dark lager that is brewed with German malts and German hops. It's an easy drinker to start Spring off right. Notes of chocolate and roasted malts, a slight caramel sweetness, sourdough pretzels”

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
