This hefty 10 Adjunct Imperial Stout was brewed alongside our buddies at Equilibrium Brewing. Already featuring a massive malt bill we thought it appropriate to up the ante, why not right? Conditioned on insane amounts of Coconut, Tahitian Vanilla, Bourbon Vanilla, Coffee, Chocolate, Marshmallow, Almonds, Pecans, Banana and Cinnamon.

A - Dark brown / black pour with ALOT of adjunct "schmutz" sticking to the sides of the glass. It looks like a sludgy mess.
S - The nose is a total sticky mess with a menagerie of smells: Pecans, almonds, chocolate, faded coffee, and cinnamon.
T - The overall flavor is puckering sour.
M - Medium silky body .
O - This bottle was a total waste of money. If you see one on the shelf, pass it up.

Look: Thick, dark body, one of the darker heads I've seen.
Smell: Lots of lovely, rather sweet flavors. Not too much of the base.
Taste: This has started to go bad, unfortunately. Yeast, coffee, who knows? Tart flavors over top of coffee.
Feel: Could be a bit thicker, but pretty good for the style.
Overall: Bummed this has turned, especially at the price I paid.

Poured from 500ml bottle into pint glass in June 2022, that I purchased at their brewery in Ardmore. I did not see any brewed or bottled on date, and I drank this the same day I purchased it.
Appearance: Very dark black with a 2 finger head. Head was uniquely dark brown, and thins out after a minute. It left a moderate amount of lacing on the glass, and no head remained after a minute.
Smell: Strong mix of aromas as expected by the name. Some bourbon, roasted coffee, coconut, and chocolate. There is some additional sweetness like vanilla and marshmallow as well. Not much hop aroma.
Taste: There is a sweet taste of coconut, marshmallow, vanilla, chocolate as expected by the name. Also some coffee and roasted malt flavors. They are more balanced than I expected from the aroma. Flavors are very bold. There is a strong alcohol presence that matches 11.0% on the label. A sweet chocolate, and vanilla aftertaste, that is really enjoyable.
Mouth-feel: Thick, but with an extremely smooth and creamy body.
This is a good Imperial Dessert Stout, and it has a variety of flavors that adds a nice complexity to the beer. The balance of flavors is outstanding. I do not believe this is barrel-aged, but it has a hint of bourbon flavor to balance the coffee and multiple sweet dessert flavors. It is very smooth and enjoyable to drink. Since it is a sweet stout, it is not one I would often drink, but at special times it is excellent. I would buy this again, and hope they have bottles available for more than just this anniversary weekend.
