A - Pitch black pour with a thin but consistent creamy layer of toasted caramel colored foam resting on top.
S - Nice roasty chocolate coffee bean aroma with a slight bit of smokey char blended in.
T - Chocolate, delicate chocolate char, coffee bean, and some balanced chocolate coffee roastiness that lingers on the backside.
M - Big medium body that's silky smooth.
O - Better than its current rating of (90).

Good head retention. More baker's chocolate and roast than coffee, especially in the aromas. Flavors show a bit of dark roast coffee but still not a particularly complex character. Full, well-rounded mouthfeel. Pretty good

2022 version of coffee Only Void. Purchased at the Ardmore, PA Fermantaria.
L - Jet black with a thin creamy delicate
head.
S- Powerful freshly roasted and ground
coffee.
T- Strong coffee tannins upfront giving
way to a dry roasted malt.
F- Smooth viscous mouthfeel.
O- Being a coffee stout, this is good, but
not great. A wee bit strong on the
coffee flavor. Still good, though!

brother stopped by this hipster haven and looked for anything resembling beer. this is the closest they got. it's okay if you want to pay the price of a 30 pack for 4 16 oz cans. he gave me two of the four basically, the kolsch style he picked up previously was nice and 'traditional' tasting, which i think says alot for this brewery. good for the style, absolutely not something i'd want to have more than maybe once or twice a year.

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in October 2021. There was a canned on date of 10/18/2022, with the name "Red Eye Void" on the bottom. I bought the beer at their brew pub in Ardmore and drank it within a couple of days.
Appearance: Very dark black with a dark brown head. Head was less than 1 finger high, and lasted a minute. It left a little lacing on the glass, and ended with a thin tan head still on the beer.
Smell: Aroma of coffee as expected. There is also some chocolate, roasted malt, and caramel, but overall the coffee dominate the others.
Taste: There is a strong coffee flavor. Also some chocolate, and smokey roasted flavors. There is a small amount of bitter hop flavors to enhance the taste. There is a strong alcohol presence, which matches the 10% on the Tired Label website.
Mouth-feel: Full body but also smooth. It has a little edge as am Imperial Stout should, and is not as smooth as a milk stout.
This is a very good Imperial Stout, and I enjoyed the variety of bold flavors. There is a nice balance between the coffee and chocolate flavors. Only Void is one of my favorite stouts, and this is an interesting version. I prefer the double barrel aged Only Void the most, followed by the Black forest Only Void, the standard Only Void, and then this Coffee Only Void. Even though it is a full-bodied beer, it is still smooth and enjoyable to drink. I would buy this again.
