Received a can in a trade with @jzeilinger 9-11-23. Canned 2-22-23; consumed 2-24-24. Cold stored since receiving.
Beer poured brown with a lovely off white head.
Nose is roast city with some wheat bread, and i am getting a slightly phenolic note as well.
Taste is a pumpernickel bread malt base that is of medium roast but leaves a delicate touch of sweetness. Finishes balanced as the hops are not perceptible but are doing their job to ensure all is well.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and fairly refreshing.
Overall i think the beer has held up well over a year, glad i got the opportunity to try!

Pours a chestnut-y brown with the head of a porter. Decent retention and lacing. Smells a bit like lightly roasted coffee and lightly toasted brown bread. There's also something else there I can't quite put my finger on. Damn it. Something spicy that's right on the tip of my tongue, but I'm too brain-damaged to spit out. Smells good, though. Tastes it too. Whoo, an interesting one. Further coffee on the tongue. Also, Raisinets. Coffee, though. Like, damn. Black coffee; not too dark a roast. Tasty as fuck. Toasted banana bread with chocolate chips. Earthy hops. Just sweet enough for balance. Fucking hell this is a nice little beer. I really like this Trendler series from Tired Hands. Seems like they're using it to highlight lesser hyped styles and I am here for it.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 2/22/23, so 2 months old.
Black with brown highlights body, strong malty aroma. Taste is full, dark, rich with a hint of roast. Hop nigh on undetectable.
