Modest at best head production. Body is quite hazy but nowhere near opaque, with a ton of visible sediment out of suspension.
Incredibly fruity aroma, with the natural sweetness of the fruit - in particular, guava, pineapple, and blood orange - handily winning out over the more herbal aspects of the hops. They clearly set out to prominently feature the fruit, and they succeeded.
Flavor is immediately less sweet and juicy than the nose - significantly and surprisingly so, in fact. Rather green and herbal from the hop expression. The vanilla and lactose come through after the initial wave of crispy bitterness. The fruit never really establish on the palate; there are tasting notes, for sure, but it's lacking in sweetness and natural earthy juiciness.
There's no hint of the guava. The pineapple has neither the sweetness of the juice nor the earthy fibrous aspect of the rind. No acidity from the blood orange; the apricot, papaya, and passionfruit are similarly no-shows. No noticeable sweetness from the malt base, either.
Quite a bit of bite; very, very lively. Far less creamy than I expect for a milkshake IPA, especially at this ABV, but it is a very pleasant drinking experience.
This one falls way, way short of expectations - not necessarily in terms of rating, but in terms of delivery. They loaded this thing with fruit salad, but it's a relatively normal modern IPA on the palate. At the same time, it's by no means bad; it's very, very tasty, but it just doesn't at all live up to the lofty expectations established by the brewery.

Tired Hands just released a bunch of Punge variants. This one they call a milkshake IPA.

Yes they add milk sugar. It’s too sweet and a bit too gritty for me.
