Hazy and turbid. Good head production and retention.
Bright aroma, with a blend of citrus and tropical fruit, green kitchen herbs, and mild dankness. Mint, guava, orange, earth, pepper, mango, strawberry, peach.
Smooth and creamy on the palate; full bodied, but maintains a lively bite.
Tasting notes match the nose quite well: mango, orange, white grape, mild to moderate earthy dankness, peach, melon, lemon, bright green herbs. Nelson Sauvin seems a given with this profile, but I'm not familiar enough with other NZ hops to figure out exactly which varietals were used.
This is a damn good beer. Tired Hands has long been the undisputed master of NE IPAs outside of NE. This one isn't up there with their best, but it does everything very well at the absolute minimum.
