Eleven In the House of Sin was comprised of damn near a literal ton of just about every specialty malt you’ve ever heard of (and some you haven’t!), almost no hops (7 pounds of our forever bud, Columbus) and tons of gooey fruit and adjuncts. After a vicious hours long boil, Eleven in the House of Sin got loaded up with tons of banana, mocha and chocolate. Truly one of the most decadent beers we’ve ever canned. Notes of Fudgy the Whale, cafe au lait and a chocolate covered banana from the Banana Stand.

16oz can courtesy of @jzeilinger
Poured into a Lolo Peak Belgian-style tulip
P black as night w/ a 1-2 dense dark tan head
N sweet and inviting blend of cocoa and roast
T follows the nose w/ tons of cocoa; a good dose of roast too (w/ some char in the finish); dark sugars; light banana flavor beneath; tasty and fairly rich
Mf med-full bodied w/ med carb
O one really solid imperial stout; thanks, J!

Received a can via trade from @jzeilinger 10-13-23. Canned 6-5-23; consumed 4-23-24.
Beer poured black with a nice tan head with the original pour.
Nose is heavily roasted malts with some cocoa and a touch of banana.
Taste is nicely done as the charred malt base establishes the baseline that takes on cocoa and banana adjuncts very well. Heavy hopping helps keeps excess sweetness at bay leaving just a deft touch of cocoa and banana in post sip aspirations.
Mouthfeel is full body with each sip being full and viscous.
Overall i admit coming in with trepidation but this is well done! Thanks, Jeff, for the opportunity to try!

Always great trying new breweries for the first time. Tired Hands from PA brings in a banana and chocolate stout. Thick beer but not super pastry. Banana is present in every sip and that's how I like it. Further defined by deep, caramelized sugar that blends with the cocoa. Think chocolate banana milkshake, in the best way possible, while not being dreadfully weighed down.

A - Dark brown pour with toffee, creamy colored lacing that clings to the sides of the glass.
S - Roast chocolate malt with a little bit of char on the nose.
T - Chocolate malt base, light roasty presence, some char, and more banana than I anticipated. Ends balanced with a lingering chocolate char on the palate.
M - Big silky, viscous body with warming in the back of the throat and leaves a light sugary residue on the lips.
O - I'll be honest, the banana kinda wrecks this beer.
