Pitch brown opaque pour, no head. Smells of the bourbon and rum right away equally, char, black strap molasses, leather, oxidized fig, golden raisin, and brown sugar. Taste adds slight nut, bourbon leads more than rum, slight sweet resin on the finish with, wait for it, barley! Feel is boozier yet elegant and smooth though not as refined for the series, plenty of oxidation, barley and malt carries through the booze
