Like all of our delicious Milkshake IPAs, we brewed this one with a heavy bill packed with oats and hopped with the almighty combo of Citra and Mosaic. We then hit this beer with a monstrous double dose of bursting Madagascar vanilla beans and a truly unwise amount of bold and flavorful lemon puree. Notes of lemondrop lollipop, sweet vanilla custard, and that bottle your Italian Grandfather stashed in your freezer during the holidays. (From the Tired Hands Instagram post)

On tap at Industry Public House in Lawrenceville, PA. End of the day wind down from NFL draft day in Pittsburgh.
Very vanilla from the aroma to the taste. Certainly lemon comes through, but the predominate is vanilla. Nice, smooth, and limoncello-like. Retains a decent amount of hop presence

Poured from a pint can, the body is a faded lemon yellow with large fluffy white head. Very good lacing.
Aroma is a bright lemon with a bit of vanilla. Taste features a bitterness that works very well with the citrus. A bit of oat in the flavor. The vanilla's more in the background than the nose. At finish, things quickly dry up with a bit of lingering lemon bitterness. Nice.
Mouthfeel is quite nice, soft and medium.

Cracking open a pint can, it's surprising how little citrus aroma is detected. The smell of an obvious milkshake beer dominates. It's more like smelling whipped cream. A pour that emptied the entire contents of the can into a clear glass liter mug produced a stark white foam. It receded slowly, unevenly and unattractively, leaving only a little sporadic lacing inside the vessel. Beneath, a liquid that's lemon-amber and almost murky adds little to the appearance. It tastes at least as bad as it looks. As for the nose, the lemon flavor, which would be welcomed, is overwhelmed by the lactose and oats. Then, almost unexpectedly, there's a hoppy bite at the finish. Although that's not bad, it seems out of place for what this purports to be. Maybe this is just a bad idea from the conception. Few would think it a good idea to add cream to their lemonade. Overall, this is too much of a milkshake IPA to try to carry any lemon character. It's even too milky and oaty to even make it a good one of those. As should be expected from its style, the mouthfeel is supple and smooth, but too sticky. A great argument for those that hate milkshake IPAs.

Solidly hazy with a bubbly, fuzzy off-white head.
This has got that old, musty dank IPA characteristic--a catty pungency taints its lemony potpourri.

Pours a light to medium yellow, semi hazy, appropriate billowy foamy head. Nice citrus hop aroma dominated bt lemon. Creamy lemon flavor, nailed the Limoncello. CRvonation adds to a creamy texture. Overall a delicious milkshake ipa.

A fun iteration of TH’s milkshake IPAs. Certainly a nose and palette of lemon. Vanilla dominates with a surprisingly bitter finish. Overall, a nice milkshake IPA.
