L-1 to 2 finger head with a nice hazy deep straw/apricot orange colored body.
S-Sweet notes of white wine from the Nelson Sauvin, peppery fruity notes, the. stone fruit, blackberry and apricot, combined with a nice funky barnyard aroma. Sour lemon is there too. Delicate grassy hops towards the end.
T-Slight powdery sweet fruitiness, notes of dry sauvignon blanc, grassy earthiness, notes of blackberry, apple and apricot are there too. Peppery fruity earthiness, and a nice healthy but mildly mannered bitterness at the end.
F-Velvety, yet drying mouthfeel, subtle carbonation. Very pleasant.
O- Probably the most delicate DDHIPA I’ve ever had. Love the white wine notes, subtle fruitiness, and notes of funk. Expertly crafted and engaging interesting beer. Would have again. Cheers!
