Advanced Science of Cataclysmic Hop Levels is our latest collective consciousness collab with Equilibrium Brewery — and this one is straight-up WILD. Built on a hefty malt bill of 2-Row, Torrefied Wheat, Oat Malt, Flaked Oats & Wheat, and Chit Malt, then kettle-hopped with Enigma and Citra Cryo, and dry-hopped with Citra, Nelson, Motueka, and Wai-Iti. But we didn’t stop there — we added a touch of BrewGas OG Kush terpenes for that sticky, dank edge. The result: a resin-drenched flavor bomb bursting with lemon meringue, pineapple sorbet, guava jam, and yes... a hint of the sticky icky.

Pours a dark yellow with nice thick head. Aroma is dank pineapple and citrus. Taste follows with a spice and a fair amount of bitterness on the back end. Feel is fairly thick and chewy.
Can date on this beer was 10/12/25. I did not review this beer at first because it tasted like pure weed. After two months, that seems to have subsided, and the good qualities of this beer shined through.

No date on can, into an Ethereal Brewing tulip.

Pours a dark yellow with very lovely thick rocky foam. Aroma is pineapple and dankness, very bitter and vegetal. Flavor is similar, but extremely dank. The terpenes are incredibly apparent but the hop flavors are great as well. There's a little malt on the back end and it's mostly sweet with a little bitterness. Altogether complex and weird but with good strange flavors. Feel is good, thick and dense with low alcohol.

Overall, a crazy dank IPA that shows off how good the EQ hop flavors are and Tired Hands' creativity. Very nice.

Can graphics very eye-catching and convincing this hopslover. My 8.4% ABV brew has a different label from the one pictured here, and may be a bit different. Canned on 10-30-25 for this 11-29-25 tasting. Poured pint high into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Wonderfully dank Kushy ganja aromas from the moment the can tab pops. In the glass, a tall persistent head lasting all the way down, leaving beautiful lacing. Color is a white opaque SRM 4 whitish yellow. I cannot find any malt flavor in here, unless a baguette or biscuit bit of wheaty oats counts. But the hopping is so completely glorious, I do not miss the Pale Ale flavor IPAs used to work with. I’d love to taste a cannabis brewgassed west-coast style IPA with just barley malt in it, but till that happens I’m glad to have this Tired Hands Equilibrium adventure in my fridge.

A - Completely opaque medium yellow gold pour with dense, creamy lacing.

S - Big spicy pineapple aroma slams the nose followed with oily citrus, and some gooseberry.

T - Spicy citrus, citrus rind, pineapple, guava, spicy grapefruit, and some gooseberry while finishing slightly on the sweeter side with some slight bitterness.

M - Soft and chewy body that's pillowy soft.

O - This one is a palate trasher and full of flavor.

Notes of lemon cream, pineapple sorbet, and dank herb.” Beautiful densely hazed golden yellow. Lovely dank nose. Maybe too much heat/bitterness on the palate?
