DDH Weedeater Inspired Double IPA. Built on a hefty grist of malted and flaked oats as well as American two row barley, and hopped aggressively on the hot side with Ekuanot. Fermented with our expressive house Ale yeast, and hit with quite a large DOUBLE dry hop of Citra, Ekuanot, Amarillo, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin!

Hazy, thick looking orange in color with a thick, white head. Nose is orange juice and grapefruit juice mixed. Taste is heavy in citrus. WOWSER on the bitterness, love it!

Received a 16 oz can on 12-19-25 from @jzeilinger. Canned 11-17-25; consumed 1-16-26. Cold stored since received. Thanks, Jeff!

Beer poured lazy hazy, not clear golden orange with a very nice white head.

Nose is herbal and woody forward, with some tropical and citrus notes that are secondary.

Taste is a light but sufficiently sized pale malt base. Hopping brings a grapefruit and wood forward flavor, some white grapes, light mango, and some orange in the back-end aspirations. Finishes with an aggressive woody gooseberry bitterness; 8/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, very soft and smooth.

Overall, like the abrasive hops this one brings. It's different from the previous THBC samples, but a good different from an IPA purist perspective!

A - Opaque dark orange colored pour with dense, creamy lacing.

S - Citrus, some herbal character, lemon, lime, and light fruitiness.

T - Fruity, woody, subdued grape, citrus and tropical fruit, some light herbal character, and grapefruit while ending with a balanced fruit bitterness.

M - Big chewy medium body that dries the front of the tongue while the rest of the mouth salivates. There's a slight bit of warming and overall has a well-hidden ABV.

O - Wasn't sure about this beer at first but it's starting to grow on me.
