A generous but not excessive head resulted by emptying the entire contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. The color of the brew is lemon-amber and it's opaque. The nose finds sharply piney hops and only some vague starchiness. The taste is acutely bitter from onset throughout the finish. Thankfully, it never approaches tropically fruity. The combination of hop varieties gives this a nicely complex taste. But, there's no counterbalance from the starches, which at least provide a reasonable body, without contributing much to the taste, other than some sweetness. The glass lacing is spotty, in this case underselling the body a little. The alcohol is only slightly noticeable. Overall, for a hop-head that has no interest in a nicely balanced IPA, this should be a dream come true.

Canned 12/23/25. From the TH Instagram post: "Confirmed Eternal is a brand new Double IPA, featuring a new hop strain- Dolcita! This one is born from a base of 2 row, oat malt and wheat malt. Hopped in the kettle with amazingly fragrant Dolcita, Motueka, and Citra; then blasted with a dry hopping of more Dolcita, Motueka, Citra, and a bit of Simcoe to round out the flavor. The Dolcita hops lend a unique creamy citrus and peach flavor. Look for notes of pineapple soft serve, orange creamsicle, peach rings, and spruce tip panna cotta." Nice NE DIPA, for sure.

This is an excellent Hazy DIPA with Citra, Simcoe, Motueka, and Dolcita
This exhibits an interesting profile of hops with Dolcita seemingly stealing the show. Dank and ripe with serious depth, the flavors are hop forward with a serious tropical sharpness featuring a strong coconut/Mai Tai note which must be produced by the Dolcita addition. Typical Citra, Simcoe, and Motueka notes are available. However, the beauty of this beer is delivered by what would be an otherwise unknown source. Enter Dolcita. Dank citrus is available with papaya, peach, tangerine, and other similar familiar notes. Then comes the islander flavor of coconut via Dolcita which seperates this beer from other NEDIPAs of its ilk. Tropical coconut flavors come through strongly. Drinkability is high, feel is bold, sweetness is low. This is a well done hazy DIPA that challenges the palate.
