Half cask at Sheffield Tap. Light, clear amber pour, half finger creamy head, rings of lacing. Light malty aroma. Taste is malty, mild sweetness, bready, fruity with a dry, bitter finish. Lovely mouthfeel.

Pours a clear amber with soft, soapy head.
Smell is malty and bready with some floral hints. Notes of rye, brown bread and caramel.
Taste is bready with some caramelly sweetness and a solid bitterness. A bit spicy with notes of rye, toast and citrus with some floral hints.
Mouthfeel is medium and well carbonated.
Overall, a ver nice drinkable bitter.

Amber, murky (bit), lots of fine carbonation, fine bubbled substantial head that reduces to a few millimeter but never diminishes
Smells of citric and floral hops, toasted malts
Tastewise, caramel malts, nutty as well, bitterness builds slowly but substantial towards the end.
Had this from a bottle and carboNtion was much higher than you would expect from an English ale especially if pulled from a cask. Theeefore, a bit fizzy but still smooth good medium body.
Very nice with quite expressive hops easily balanced by the malts. Hopping reminds of a pale ale. Great Bitter. These English ales are really growing on me.

Bottled and bottle conditioned
A classic best bitter, rich toffee and malt balanced with the subtle flavours of Challenger, First Gold and Target hops.
Canned really adds to this beer, the conditioned making it like a mini cask
