This pale ale is available onboard Virgin Trains and was brewed for them by Redwillow. This could be the same beer, or similar, to Wreckless. However, I don't have that beer to compare to.
Pours pale gold with small head and little lacing. Nose is mild, but fresh clean hops come through (citra and Amarillo). Taste is very run-of-the-mill pale ale. Bitterness on the finish, some fruity malt up front. Actually, a pretty damn good beer for the generic train ale! In a craft pub, I'd be underwhelmed.
