On Monday 14th February 2022, eight incredible women - from in and around Macclesfield - joined forces to create a beer to be released for International Women’s Day on the 8th March 2022. Together they created I Am Woman, a 6.1% IPA; complex, dank, yet juicy. Using Centennial, Cascade, and Chinook hops in the whirlpool to develop the bitter and piney bite, with a strong citrusy floral aroma. Followed by further Citra and Columbus on the dry hop to enhance the flavours of mango, guava, and lychee, with herbally lemon backtones. This beer truly represents the empowerment of women, strong and powerful, beautifully executed.
