Calypse Kolsch

Pours a rich gold color with minor head and the lacing you get is pretty sticky. Smells very light and refreshing, sweet honey tones, floral, citrus. The taste follows the nose, very sweet upfront with some floral notes and citrus. This is a very nice beer, very flavorful and easy to drink, especially on hot days, this is super refreshing. A light beer with loads of taste, excellent summer beer.

 

 

Acquired during a recent working trip to Flagstaff. Poured from a can into a tulip glass. A nice clear orange-ish yellow color, brief head and decent lacing. Refreshing smell of lemon and freshly cut grass. Clean, slightly sweet taste. A nice representation of the kolsch style.
