There's a good fragrance of spicy, piney hops, along with some cookie sweetness. Pours a frothy, off-white head; the body is crystal clear and orange-ish copper. There's not much flavor—some malt sweetness, some hop bitterness with maybe a touch of citrus, but it's all very nondescript. The body is rather light; not a great deal of carbonation.
Evidently intended to be enjoyed as a summer beer, I followed the recommendation on the can and poured it over ice, but I think all that did was water down the flavor and kill some of the carbonation. It looks and smells pretty good, but the flavor is just so unremarkable. I've got to give them credit for hiding the 7% ABV so well in such a bland beverage. Otherwise, I think this has become my least favorite product from Yebisu.
