Head was short on a very pale golden transparent color. Body has to be so weak. Smell is weak, light fresh citrus, nothing too exciting. The taste shows slight hints of peach at the beginning, then more citrus notes and a corona like absence of real taste. Mouthfeel is so light. I guess this beer just has to be drinkable. It is, but I don't feel like drinking it...

A crazy look to this brew: almost as clear as a fish tank, with big bubbles rising as if from the filter. A bizarre thin yet active head.

Smell is average, medium malty.

The taste is crisp, with sharp carbonation. It has that seltzer water emptiness--i.e. lack of taste--that I've found in most "off"/light japanese beers. This one has a slight fruitiness and a light hop presence as well at the end. Light hops, sour finish. Not the WORST happoshu money can buy.

Ingredients: barley, hops, malt.
Note: Less than 25% malt (which means over 75% barley)
50% less carbohydrates

Very pale yellow with a white disappearing head
Very light malty aroma with little to no hop presense
Extremely astringent, dry beer shocks the palate, followed by a course bitterness.

Despite our favorite kyonyu model Megumi-san touting this swill in every third commercial here in Japan, I cannot finnish the can.
