A: Pours a crystal clear medium amber in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate copper colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy beige head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering a little more than 85% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel + toasted malts with a hint of corn + rice adjunct sweetness. Light aromas of earthy hops in the finish.
T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of toasted + caramel malts with a moderate amount of caramel sweetness and just a hint of corn + rice adjuncts. That is followed by light flavors of earthy hops which impart a touch of bitterness but there is a light amount of malty sweetness that lingers for a short amount of time.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.
O: Decent but nothing special, there is that hints of adjuncts in a Märzen/Festbier base styled beer. Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol.
