Poured from a can in Kyoto with a May 2020 BB date stamp on the bottom of the can.
Appearance: the body is clear, light amber in color, and flowers with a good white head. Excellent clarity.
This has an unusual, fruity-piney aroma and flavor, presumably due to the Sorachi hops.
Smooth medium body with medium carbonation.

Sorachi is a trult exceptional and unique hop variety. Every time I had a beer made with these hops, it always became an unforgettable experience - perhaps I will also remember this beer as well.
Not because it is that outstanding, but because of the aroma and flavor of the Sorachi in it. Sorachi, unlike US hops, has no citrusiness, perhaps some earthy flavors but loads and loads of pine! It reminds me of the Greek “retsina” wine aged in those pine barrels, this beer is very similar. And this unique taste makes it so exciting, interesting to drink.
This beer is alright, not bad but what makes it great are the Sorachi hops. Would definitely like to taste more beers made with it, and perhaps would drink this very beer again - because of these great and unique hops.
