As much as I’ve been praising Sapporo last year, that much was this disappointing. It wasn’t even a real beer (since it was happoshu...) To be honest I can’t even recall how this beer was because it was just so mediocre. It didn’t even taste like something. I remember faint hints of Euro lager in the aroma (or smell, if you like) and the taste, but it also had this weird, artificial thing going on, typical of Japanese beers. It’s like they put this artificial, fragrant, aroma thing into it that doesn’t even taste like beer but more like a toilet air freshener. And they say on the can that they put more Ebisu hop into it (what is it anyway?)
Had worse, but I don’t think I will ever have this one again...
