It says this beer was made to the 55th anniversary of Sapporo’s Beer Garden, where and what it is, don’t ask.
One thing I reaffirmed by this beer is that Japanese hops tend to taste strange. Or at leas the one the major breweries use, there’s some kind of weirdness about them. The beer is okay when ice cold but as soon as it starts to warm up, hops start tasting like dishwasher soap or the like, very artificial anyway.
On the other hand, hops unique to Japan like the Sorachi Ace is excellent and I never had this feeling with beers made with such hops (or, should I say, with craft beers)
Either it’s me or there’s something fishy down major brewery lane.
Ps.: funny, I didn’t realize this was the 1000th beer I reviewed here on BA. Not really the right one for the occassion… maybe will get something extra for the next 1000th.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
