Boy the Japanese do love these fancy overblown names! “Hanayagi no kaori” translates into an “aroma of brilliance/cheerfullness” - WTF, really? Anyhow.
The other thing I’m here to b**ch about today is why does every single Japanese beer have to have 5.00 ABV? Isn’t it all just made up like these tell-tale names? Is there really no deviance?
Again, I’m rambling. Back to the beer.
These Mugi to Hops seem to have something different everytime, a different perk, that is more or less fascinating (the one I had earlier wasn’t good at all…) However this one was surprisingly nice! It is basically a lager with aroma hops, made with real barley so it kind of tasted like a real beer.
Long story short (actually I said almost nothing about the beer itself…) it was better than expected, it was not only drinkable but quite pleasant, hoppy and nice! They could really make such things regular instead of the mediocre cr@p they keep pumping out.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
