Copenhagen 29/3 2021. 33 cl bottle from Brygshoppen web-shop. Woody label with sketchy drawing of a Boar's head with a small whisky barrel for company.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as thin, lonely path of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a dark, sweet odor mingling with wood and alcohol. Brown sugar, chocolate. Wood soaked in dark alcohol. Light notes of peat and whisky.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a lighter sourness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweetish booziness just underneath. Lingering. Finish is dry and boozy.
Powerful barrel-aged beer.
