Copenhagen 22/3 2021. 33 cl bottle from Brygshoppen. Dark purple label with three happy Beavers doing dance routine.
Pours murky maroon with small white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover much of anything. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, vinous and fruity odor mingling with yeasty funk. Sweet grapes and plums. Caramel. Dark alcohol. Humid cellar and sour cream cheese.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a lighter sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is sharp and laden with alcohol.
Fine, dark vinous boozer. And cute shuffling Beavers.
