Copenhagen 15/3 2021. 75 cl bottle from Brygshoppen web-shop. Blue label with three boar heads.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with dark alcohol and yeasty fumes. Pale sweet malts. Oaky cognac. Touch of cider. Light sourish grainy notes.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, greasy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy touch. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet cognac.
Not too boozy barrel-aged Triple. Quite sweet but that goes with the territory.
