22oz bottle dated 8/11/15.
Pours hazy gold with a frothy, two-plus inch head of white. Lacing aplenty throughout the glass.
Aromatics lead off with tropical fruit and estery yeast. Melons, peach, and mango with hints of bubblegum and apples.
Medium bodied with a crisp, creamy mouthfeel.
Ripe citrus with pine following through on the palate. Shades of biscuits and doughy yeast in the back. Mild bitterness and highly quaffable.
Finishes with plenty of ripe, tropical fruit and quite dry.
Great beer but the nose is subdued for the style. I'd love to try a fresh sample.

Pours a cloudy orange color with a frothy white head towering on top. Aroma is tropical fruit, mango, citric, and a toffee malt base. Mouth full of tropical hops in the flavor with a light honey and fresh bread. Light carbonation and medium body with a bitter finish. All round delicious IPA showcasing Mosaic hops.

Pours a hazy, pale golden color with a huge bubbly white head that leaves a good amount of lacing.
The aroma is very tropical, with notes of dank pine resin. About what you come to expect from mosaic hops.
The taste is extremely bitter. I get a touch of the bready malt backbone but it is just completely overshadowed by the bitterness and resiny hop profile. The tropical notes that permeated the glass on the aroma are almost nowhere to be found. Very disappointing.
The feel is light to medium-light bodied with ridiculously over-the-top carbonation. It's watery and oily, and just doesn't sit right in my mouth.
Overall I was pretty underwhelmed by this beer. I love mosaic hops as they always add a nice tropical touch. This beer had a very nice nose, but the flavor just didn't live up to it and the feel was pretty bad, all things considered. It's overly bitter and watery and just not very pleasant.

Poured from a bomber bottle into a tulip glass.
This is a really interesting beer. It has the hazy color and beautiful nose that are hallmarks of the top tier NE IPAs these days, but it's also quite carbonated and thinly crisp which sets it apart and justifies the Imperial Pilsner designation. The alcohol is also very hidden - I'd never have guessed it was 8% blind.
The nose is muted tropical fruit (pineapple mostly?) that is balanced with an herby floralness. Taste isn't quite as interesting as the nose, but it still basically sits comfortably in the tropical fruity, low-bitterness world of NE hoppy beers. And at $7.50 a bomber it's really a steal.

This is an outstanding beer all around. It's extremely hazy, similar to Heady Topper. A good half inch of head and solid lacing. I love Mosaic hops, and it gives the beer an herbal, earthy taste. The aroma hits hard - I could smell it from a few feet away as I prepared some chicken wings.
Will continue to try more stuff from this brewery.

Was really excited to try this beer but it really let me down. Aroma was awesome, great tropical fruit and citrus notes. Flavor was far too bitter, kinda muted everything else for me, all i could taste was bitter. Way over carbonated as well, couldn't pour this without half a glass of head
